The padlocked educational, finance and nursing departments of BP Koirala Institute of Health and Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, resumed operations Thursday onward after administration of the Institute agreed to fulfill its employees' demands.

All works of the departments resumed work after a meeting held on Wednesday afternoon among administration, employees' welfare forum and nursing welfare committee made an agreement.

The employees launched agitation after the BPKIHS did not increase facilities of the employees at the time when the facilities of doctors were increased by 30 per cent.

There are 1,300 employees working at employees' welfare forum and nursing department.
