Nepali musicians played a fundraiser football match against Nepali cine artists at the Dasrath Stadium on 11 January. The actors thrashed the musicians 4-2, as thousands of spectators thronged to see their favourite celebrities do some fancy footwork. The proceeds of the match were donated to the hundreds of victims of the fire at Myaglung in Tehrathum. The fundraiser was organised by the Chaudhary Group, makers of Wai Wai instant noodles.
